5. التحكم في العدوى المتقاطعة (Cross-Infection Control): ينصح بفصل الأغنام الصغيرة عن الأغنام البالغة للحد من انتقال الديدان. يمكن تحقيق ذلك من خلال إنشاء مرافق فصل مؤقتة للأغنام الشابة والمراعي المنفصلة.
